I'm creating my one page word list from the New York Times article about Noel Coward-think it would be fun to explore the whole 'celebrity-spy' thing.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking of using Twilight, the novel by Stephenie Meyer to discuss deceit and lying to "benefit other." There is this really cool scene in book 3 where Jacob and Edward are arguing on whether it is better for Bella to know that there is someone trying to kill her, whether she can handle it. I think it a really interesting question, whether or not someone should be told the truth if it will terrify them or whether they should be kept ignorant in the dark.
